Why We Like The Basin Trek Pant
The Basin Trek Pants are the perfect bottoms whether heading out for a post-work loop on your local trails or a multi-day excursion in remote wilderness. Our favorite feature is the lightweight and stretchy fabric that is comfortable even in direct sunlight at high-noon, while the DWR finish comes in handy by shedding moisture from light rainfall when the cloud cover inevitably returns.

Comfortable pant.
Great fit, comfortable and lightweight. As with a lot of technical clothing, they do their job outside, but noisy inside (swish swish). Would like some natural fibres to quiet that.

New favorite pants
The fit and finish of these are great. The outer material is water resistant, liquid just bead off, while the inside is soft and stretchy. The cut is nice, as is the length. I like the mesh pocket liners and the way the pockets blend into the inside of the pants.

My go-to outdoor pants
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 38
The only reason I didn't give him five stars is I bought two colors and the fit was not the same between the two colors but both were acceptable want a little less baggy than the other.

Alaska Sim
I bought two pair at the discounted price, like them so much, I bought more. My new go-to trousers. Can hike, wear around town, church, etc. Currently trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal, the best trekking pants!!

Quality and color off
Ok quality, but not as good as expected. I've already had a small stitch tear from normal use. Color was not as expected. I ordered black spruce and received a shade of green. If spruce is a color and spruce is green, they shouldn't have put black in the title.

Great pants for travel.
Great pants for travel. Bought the exact same pair of pants in two colors one size fit perfectly (blue), the other fit was two sizes two small (black). They were label as the same size, but when I put one on top of the other, they were not the same. I bought them in size 31 and I am 6'2" 155lbs.

Super comfortable, good DWR
These pants are great for around town as well as hiking. Light and comfortable, these actually fit perfectly with a one-inch-larger size than I typically wear. They were sold out of my "usual" size so I bought one inch bigger, thinking I'd be tucking in undershirts for wearing them to work or I'd just use a belt, but they actually fit well as they are. So if I'd order more I'd still get the one-inch waist size bigger for a nice fit, thinking the actual size might be a little snug. Hopefully they bring these back and not just offer them in zip-offs!
