Why We Like The Rab Cirrus Flex 2.0 Hoodie
Rab's Cirrus Flex 2.0 Hoodie was built for snowy summits and alpine crags. As we stand against the mountain's icy breeze, belaying our partner, the light and lofty fill keeps our core toasty, while the stretch panels give us full slack-paying range, and the low-profile cuffs and cinchable hem stay out of our way.

This jacket has pros and cons, and at the end of the day I am just kind of like, "meh." It's super light weight, stretchy and flexible, great for movement. The hood is great, it looks great, and it is a nice light weight layer to have at hand. But what kind of kills it for me are the stretch panels that run the full length of the jacket along both sides, right up the arm pits, and all the way down the inside of the arms. So whenever I wear this thing, I get the chills wherever the stretch panels are. It does provide stretch, and breath-ability, but my sides and under-arms always feel chilled...it is just an odd feeling. The jacket is 1/2 comfy-cozy, and 1/2 chilly at the same time. Just weird. And for the price of well over a hundred bucks, just weird isn't good enough.

Lightweight and warm. Stuffs into one of its pockets and makes about 6 x 8 x 5 inch ball. Has stretchy side panels. the hood has elastic around the opening and covers your head very well, protecting against wind. It is long, but I think that is a feature not a bug. It wraps down around the top of your butt and keeps drafts out. Has a drawstring at the bottom. Has big inside pockets, and big hand pockets. The only improvement I'd like would be bigger zipper tabs, and the ability to unzip from the bottom (two way zipper), and maybe some pit zips to let out some heat. Also maybe a sunglass size pocket on the chest. The first things would make it the perfect jacket for active work out in the cold. As it stands, it's pretty darn good.
